Harwich Harbour Ferry Services have been under particular pressure due to increased inflationary costs. A fare freeze has been in place for three years but is too challenging to continue. In 2024 we chose to keep fares the same, but reluctantly, to secure the future of the ferry we need to raise fares in 2025 by just under 10% for Adults and in 2026 by 10% for the rest. This means, in real terms, fares have increased in line with inflation over time. That will help to address some of the significant budget pressures and allow the continued timetable. We thank you for your understanding.
